Applications Open for a Community Energy Graduate

2021 is off to a great start here at FDT!

With help from the ScotGrad Programme which is part funded by Highlands and Islands Enterprise and European Regional Development Fund, we’ve created a new post for a Community Energy Graduate.

Applications are now open and will close on 28th January. Click here for more information and to apply.

As a rural community, with lots of traditional buildings, we know there are lots of opportunities for energy efficiency improvements in people’s homes. We also know that there are grants and funds available to carry out these improvements. Unfortunately, however, the processes required to access this support can be very complex and daunting.

Our Community Energy Graduate will help members of our community cut through these difficulties by acting as the link between householders and organisations such as Home Energy Scotland and therefore will help to make our community greener, more resilient and healthier!

We are absolutely delighted to be growing our team of 1 into 2 and by doing so, delivering another priority project, part of our 5-year Strategic Plan to regenerate Finderne!
