The FCC and the FDT met with MSP Richard Lochhead and Duncan Nesbit (R100 Stakeholder Director at The Scottish Government) earlier this year.
A further open meeting was arranged by FCC who invited the public and local broadband providers (External Reality, Rural Communications and Logienet) to discuss the current voucher position and installation options.

The FDT has funded £10k to External Reality (ER) to pay Openreach to allow ER access to the Openreach network in Rafford. ER are working through the system to establish which homes can be connected, what additional infrastructure work is required and what the cost will be. FDT hope to have a further update by the end of the year.
