FDT supported a bus trial from Edinkillie for 8 weeks towards the end of 2022. The FDT is working with ECA to see if a bus route, rather than a dial-a-bus can be trialled for a longer period of time.

The FDT has been working with Edinkillie Association, Moray Council, CTA (Community Transport Association) and DTAS (Development Trusts Association Scotland) to develop the trial into a more permanent arrangement. We are currently working on providing a scheduled bus service from Edinkillie to Forres. There is a lot of work to complete to achieve this, but with the boards backing we are moving into the more detailed phase of the project. We will update the community on this exciting project at regular intervals. 

FDT are also looking at how existing car share schemes work and whether they can be implemented in Finderne. Some of these ideas will link with the Brockloch project.

E-bikes will be explored as one of the options for community facilities at the Brockloch housing project but other locations for e-bikes could be considered.
