Finderne Development Trust are working with local volunteers to help co-ordinate essential support to the Finderne community in the areas of Altyre, Blairs, Blervie, Braemoray, Brodieshill, Burgie, Cathay, Dunphail, Easter Lawrenceton, Edinkillie, Glenerney, Logie, Rafford and Relugas during the Covid-19 pandemic.

If you need support at any time please contact us at the number above, ideally between the hours of 9am-5pm. We can then put you in touch with a local volunteer to ensure support reaches you.

Since March, Finderne Coronavirus Support has grown into a network of 45 local people who have collected prescriptions, delivered food shopping, helped in the supply of fresh produce, enjoyed many a blether on the phone and so much more. The stories that are to be told are heartwarming. From cookies and bright seasonal bouquets left on the doorsteps of those in need to posting hand written cards with messages of hope, the volunteers have gone over and above the call of duty and are spreading joy at every turn. To them, we say thanks. Finderne has really pulled together as a community!

Please remember that coronavirus is contagious. We are taking every precaution to ensure that every volunteer is only spreading kindness – and you should too. Avoid physical contact (stay at a 2m distance from those living in another household) and wash your hands with soap regularly. Any items that are delivered to your home will be left on your doorstep.

We will follow this protocol to ensure we keep you, and all the volunteers, as safe as possible.

Please note that we cannot offer medical or emergency assistance.
