Wildflower Meadow

“It’s absolute heaven.”

Lindsay Gale, a local resident and one of the wonderful Finderne Coronavirus Support volunteers, has planted a stunning wildflower meadow on Altyre Estate and as Scotland gently eases out of lockdown, it provides a safe and private space to revive, relax and restore.

Since March, we have provided support to residents who are shielding and know that this will be a welcome resource! The meadow is alive with the sights and sounds of nature and we hope that you make a booking to enjoy its surroundings.

The meadow can be booked by contacting Lindsay on 07493 937 391. It is open from 10-11am, 12 noon-1pm, 2-3pm and 4-5pm daily and admission is free.

We would like to thank Joe at Signed Graphics who very kindly donated all of the signage that you will see as a way to support our efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic and to say thanks to all of his Finderne customers, past and present. We are delighted to help support Lindsay’s fantastic work alongside Altyre Estate as part of our efforts to help get the community through this time.

We hope that you visit whilst the flowers bloom beautifully!
