Full time permanent post

Based in Finderne, near Forres, Moray

The Finderne Development Trust (FDT) is a company with community interests which aspires to be a driving force in the economic rural development of the Finderne area. Finderne is an area of stunning natural beauty to the south of Forres with a population of just over a thousand people.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join Finderne Development Trust and play a key role in developing our strategic projects including our community led affordable housing project. FDT has recently received funding from the Scottish Land Fund to purchase 3.6 acres of land in Rafford on behalf of the community to provide space to build ten affordable homes and two serviced self-build plots.

We are looking for someone to join our team with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, an approachable manner, good basic IT, and social media skills with preparedness to learn new skills if required, and the ability to plan and prioritize workload. Whilst previous project management experience is preferred this will be a great opportunity to develop project management skills whilst contributing towards positive outcomes for our Finderne community members.

Starting salary of £25,000 – £29,000 pa dependent on experience, plus employer contribution towards pension scheme.
