Kerry McInnes, Connecting Finderne Project Coordinator

Born and Bred in Moray, Kerry has a background in academic medical research and more recently as manager of her family’s Bed & Breakfast business at Ardgye House.

Kerry is particularly passionate about everything local – the people, places, and produce. As part of the Forres Area Producers Group, Kerry has strong connections to the Finderne area and is currently working on a project with Marcassie Farm and Wester Lawrenceton Farm to develop a novel peat-free seed compost.

Outside of work, she is a keen organic gardener, restoring a 1-acre market garden at Ardgye and looking after a herd of pedigree Tamworth pigs, goats, ducks, and hens. She plays the bagpipes in Buchan Pipe Band and enjoys surfing, yoga and generally being outdoors with her family and friends.

She is a firm believer in the power of a strong and resilient community and is excited about working with the Finderne Development Trust to help the community realise its full potential.
